  “Commitment in implementing and
developing Sustainable Development Goals”
What is CSR?

“The proportion of a company’s total market value that exceeds its book value has increased from 40% in the early 1980′s to over 80% at the end of the 1990′s. This means that only 20% of a companies value is reflected in the accounting system… [thus the largest portion of a company's economic activities] can easily be overlooked.”

Jurgen H. Daum in his book Intangible Assets and Value Creation

GRI Certified Training

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a non-governmental organization that develops and disseminates globally applicable voluntary Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. These guidelines has been developed through a multi-stakeholder process that incorporates the active participation of business, accountancy, investment, human rights, research and labour organizations from around the world.

In order to continuously improve and apply the reporting framework. GRI has developed certified training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of makers and users of sustainability reports to use the GRI Reporting Framework at its maximum.

The National Center for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR) is the first GRI Certified Training Partner for Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand since May 23, 2011. The NCSR has been experienced in providing a professional certification training on Sustainability Reporting since 2007 and with becoming a GRI Training Partner we can enhance the quality and skills of our trainees as according to the GRI Framework.

The three-day training will be offered to new and experienced reporters by NCSR trainers which are experienced in sustainability reporting and sustainability management. The training contains an application of GRI’s sustainability reporting framework and includes customized local content tailored to the region’s needs.

This training will be complemented with group exercises, interactive case study presentations and discussions to enable participants to better understand and apply the concepts shared. Participants will receive a certificate from GRI upon successful completion of the training course.

In addition participants are eligible to receive Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist (CSRS) from NCSR after successful passing NCSR online examination and submitting assignments. The CSRS is a professional certification in Sustainability Management which covers the more technical side of the GRI Reporting Framework.
